Our Story

You’ve heard it before, it’s a timeless tale. Boy and girl are in bar, boy meets girl’s eyes, and he makes his way over to her as if they are the only ones in the room, and they both knew from the moment their eyes meet that this is the one person they would spend the rest of their lives with … okay, maybe it didn’t exactly happen like that.

And even though the exact bar that Ryan and Chelsea met in is still being debated it is certain that the love started in the summer of 2006 will continue to grow, and they would love for you to be a part of it on July 12, 2008, where it truly will be as if they are the only two in the room.

Chelsea Ward:

After a few major changes, Chelsea followed her heart into Elementary/Special Education teaching. That decision has proved to be the right path for her and she will graduate from Bradley University in May 2008. She has been offered a second grade special education teaching position for Fall 2008.  

Ryan Sutton:

Having lived most of his life in Peoria, it is no wonder that Ryan has continued working at the family business of four generations, Sutton Carpets. This successful business venture has blessed him with the opportunity to purchase his first house, which will provide a perfect home for the couple’s beginning life together.
